We're Dale and Dawn.
Working Web is exactly two people, and that's the whole point. Between us we cover design, development, SEO, content and the unglamorous technical bits, and we genuinely like this work.
We started Working Web because we kept watching small businesses pay agency prices for junior work and phone-tag with account managers. Every site we build gets both of us, start to finish, and we're honest about what your business actually needs, including when the answer is "not us".

Do I own the website?
Yes, completely. The domain, the site, the content and every account are set up in your name. If you ever want to take it elsewhere, it all goes with you.
What's the free audit, exactly?
One of us records about ten minutes of screen time, going through your site the way we would if we were about to rebuild it: speed, mobile experience, SEO basics, how AI search tools see you, design and copy. You get that video plus a one-page summary of the handful of things we'd fix first, within three business days. It's genuinely free, and it's useful even if you never hire us.
Do I work with you both directly the whole way through?
Yes. There's no one else here. Dale and Dawn are the people on the first call, the people building the site and the people you email after launch.
Which platform will you build my site on?
Whichever one suits the job. Broadly, Shopify for stores, Webflow for design-led marketing sites and WordPress for content-heavy builds, but we'll recommend based on what you need, not what we feel like building.
Can you fix or redesign my existing site instead of rebuilding it?
Sometimes, and we'll tell you honestly which it needs. The audit is exactly this call: if a tidy-up will do the job, we'll say so rather than sell you a rebuild.
Will I be able to update the site myself?
Yes. We build on platforms with proper editors, and every handover includes a walkthrough. If you'd rather we handle updates, we can do that too.
How long does a website take?
Most builds land somewhere between four and eight weeks depending on size and how quickly content comes together. We'll give you a real timeline with your quote, not a guess.
What does it cost?
It depends on what you need, which is why we scope first and quote fixed. You'll know the full number before we start, and it won't move unless the scope does.
